Art is something magical that translates feelings and emotions without the use of sound or video. At Nasheed Club we're actively looking to collaborate with artists because we feel that every creative person has a unique personality that is worth exploring. By the end of 2017 our goal is to have an online art gallery that really empowers local artists to spread their art.
Here is a step by step guide for an artist to get his/her art online, ready to be sold
Step 1. Sending your art for approval
This step is the easiest. All you have to do is take a few photos of your work and let us know that you're interested in featuring your artwork on our online store. You can send these photos to email@example.com
Step 2. Time to discuss a few details
Once approved, it would be good for us to meet up or have a chat over the phone. We will discuss the following:
Are you offering a bespoke service and custom artwork?
Are you going to create multiple pieces of the same art or create exclusive pieces?
When people purchase art, they aren't just buying a canvas but they're also trying to connect with the artist. This means it will be an awesome idea try and blog the process so customers can feel connected to you.
It's important to understand that, depending on the way you would like to create your art, it will change the way your art is sent to the customer. For example, if you were making bespoke pieces, it would be better for you to send out the artwork yourself. However, if you have created 10 identical canvases, then it would be better to send them to us and we can send them out for you when they sell.
Making a profit is a good way to make sure you can carry on creating art. Which means we will need to discuss how much to sell the art for and work out how much it costs from creation to posting. Remember the following costs: paint, canvas, posting to us, card fees after sale, posting to customer, and our tiny admin fee of 5%
Selling your artwork online can be a profitable choice, but it is very important to understand that - even though we have 1000's of viewers on our website - it is still crucial to market and advertise your painting so people know where to buy.
Step 3. Creating
Now that we have discussed all the details, it's time to get the ball rolling. Start doing what you do best and make beautiful art (if you haven't already).
Step 4. Selling and Posting
Once the artwork is ready we will post it in our "art" category and feature it on our social media pages. It is also important that you promote your own art work as much as possible. As soon as we make a sale, we will send the art to the customer and send the profits to you as soon as we receive them.
Step 5. Repeat step 3 and 4
Thats it! It's a matter of getting set-up initially, but once thats completed and a system is in place, it is super easy to sell your art online
